Digital ID cards can be accessed 24/7 by creating an account with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina online at southcarolinablues.com or by downloading the My Health Toolkit app to your smart phone or device. To create your account, you will need to use your Member ID number.

Follow these steps to find your Member ID:

1. Visit academichealthplans.com/findCoverage
2. Enter your school issued student ID number and date of birth
3. Click "Submit"

Domestic Students
All registered Undergraduate students taking six (6) or more credit hours; Graduate or professional students taking at least one (1) graduate-level course, in good academic standing and making appropriate progress toward graduation are eligible to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan on a voluntary basis.

International Students
Winthrop University requires all international students, and their dependents, to maintain a certain level of health insurance while enrolled as a student at Winthrop University. International students who do not have insurance coverage that meets the minimum waiver requirements of the Student Health Insurance Plan, will be required to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
